Natural Cleaning With Essential Oils
A healthier home. A fresher space. A cleaner life.
At Tahoe Zen Cleaning, I believe your home should feel like a sanctuary — free of harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances, and toxic residues. That’s why for the past 10 years, I’ve integrated doTERRA® essential oils and natural solutions into every cleaning service I offer.
My approach blends cleanliness with wellness, helping you create a space that supports your body, mind, family, pets, and the environment.
Why I Clean Naturally
Most store-bought cleaning products are filled with chemical ingredients that can:
irritate the throat, eyes, or skin
trigger headaches and fatigue
disrupt hormones
pollute indoor air
negatively impact pets and children
Natural cleaning isn’t just a trend — it’s a health decision.
With essential oils and plant-based solutions, you can maintain a beautifully clean home without compromise.
doTERRA On Guard® Cleaner Concentrate
Some of the oils and blends used in Tahoe Zen Cleaning:
My go-to all-purpose cleaner that disinfects naturally, supports immunity, and leaves a warm, fresh aroma.
Lemon & Lime: Powerful natural degreasers and air purifiers.
Wild Orange: Freshens the air and boosts cleaning power of homemade sprays.
Douglas Fir & Siberian Fir: Purify the air and leave a clean, woodsy scent.
Tea Tree (Melaleuca): Cleanses surfaces and helps protect against environmental threats.
Eucalyptus: Fresh, cooling, and deeply cleansing — perfect for kitchens and bathrooms.
Purify Blend: Designed to eliminate odors and purify the air naturally.
Peppermint: Invigorating, helpful for bug-repelling, and brightens energy in any room.
Natural Cleaning Tips
These are the same methods I recommend to my clients and use in my own home:
✨ All-Purpose Cleaner
Mix 2 tablespoons of doTERRA On Guard® Cleaner Concentrate with 24 oz of water.
✨ Stainless Steel Shine
Place 1–2 drops of Lemon oil on a damp sponge.
✨ Replace Air Fresheners
Use a diffuser with citrus oils to refresh your space naturally.
✨ Remove Odors
Diffuse or spray Purify blend in trash areas, mud rooms, and closets.
