How to prepare for this workshop?
The upcoming training will be held in the serene setting of Incline Village, nestled in the beautiful Lake Tahoe area. As this mountain region can experience unpredictable weather—even in late spring—we recommend checking the forecast before your trip and packing warm, layered clothing to stay comfortable.
For the workshop, please bring a yoga mat, your favorite shawl or meditation blanket, a personal blanket, an eye pillow, and a pen with a notebook for taking notes. You are welcome to capture video for personal use only. If you are traveling from afar, a limited number of extra yoga mats and blankets will be available for your convenience.
We also recommend removing metal jewelry during the sessions and dressing in comfortable clothing. Wearing white is encouraged, as it is often associated with peaceful and harmonious energy, though the most important thing is that you feel at ease throughout the two-day experience. During the training, you will both give and receive sound healing treatments, so comfort is key.
Upon registration, you will receive a welcome packet with additional details and helpful information to support your preparation for the training.
Workshop Information
This Certification spans to two full days, based on Instructor availability, typically scheduled for Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday. Sessions run from 9 am to 12 pm in the morning, followed by a one-hour lunch break, and resume from 1 pm to 5 pm in the afternoon.
Day one features a comprehensive 3-hour PowerPoint presentation covering the science and history of metal singing bowls. The remaining time is dedicated to hands-on practice, focusing on performing treatments for various body parts and ailments.
This workshop emphasizes a give-and-receive approach to sound healing, where you’ll experience healing firsthand. Be prepared for potential emotional release during treatments.
