We provide training with both metal singing bowls and offer a fundamental understanding and practice with Crystal singing bowls. Our facilitator, Gyongyi Ridenour, is based in Truckee, CA, and conducts training sessions in Truckee at the Spirit Rebel Studio, as well as at the Divinity Yoga and Sound Healing studio in Lincoln, CA.

Workshop Information

This Certification spans to two full days, based on Instructor availability, typically scheduled for Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday. Sessions run from 9 am to 12 pm in the morning, followed by a one-hour lunch break, and resume from 1 pm to 5 pm in the afternoon.

Day one features a comprehensive 3-hour PowerPoint presentation covering the science and history of metal singing bowls. The remaining time is dedicated to hands-on practice, focusing on performing treatments for various body parts and ailments.

This workshop emphasizes a give-and-receive approach to sound healing, where you’ll experience healing firsthand. Be prepared for potential emotional release during treatments.

How to prepare for this workshop?

Truckee is nestled in the mountains, so be sure to check the weather before leaving home and pack warm clothing for your trip. Tahoe often experiences unpredictable weather, even in late spring.

For the workshop, please bring a yoga mat, your favorite shawl or meditation blanket, a personal blanket, an eye pillow, and a pen with a notebook for taking notes. You are welcome to capture video for personal use only. If you’re traveling from afar and taking flights, I have extra yoga mats and blankets available.

We highly recommend removing any metal jewelry and dressing comfortably. Opting for white clothing is encouraged, as it carries peaceful energy. The key is to feel comfortable in your attire during this two-day workshop, where you’ll both give and receive treatments.
